Last Updated: March 19, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) outlines the prohibited uses of the ChamberSearch™ Engine and associated synchronization services provided by Map Ranks Pro, LLC (“Company”). This Policy applies to all Partners, Members, and Users. By accessing our infrastructure, you agree to comply with this Policy and our Terms of Service.

1. No Illegal, Harmful, or Misleading Content

You may not use the Service to transmit, store, or display content that is illegal, fraudulent, or harmful to the integrity of the local search environment. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation, any attempt to:

  • Submit False Business Data: Creating listings for businesses that do not physically exist, or intentionally misrepresenting a business’s Name, Address, or Phone (NAP) data to manipulate search engine rankings.

  • Impersonate: Falsely stating or misrepresenting your identity or affiliation with a Chamber, a business entity, or a government agency.

  • Infringe Property Rights: Post content that violates the intellectual property or proprietary rights of others, including unauthorized use of trademarks or copyrighted business descriptions.

  • Post Offensive Material: Share content that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, or promotes bigotry, hatred, or physical harm against any group or individual.

2. No Search Engine or API Abuse

The ChamberSearch™ Engine relies on complex relationships with third-party APIs (Google, Apple, Bing). Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation, any action or attempt to:

  • Scrape or Harvest: Use automated scripts, bots, or "spiders" to crawl, index, or harvest data from the Engine for use in other directories or competitive products.

  • Manipulate Algorithms: Artificially inflate "Verified" status or directory rankings through fraudulent claims, automated traffic, or "link farming."

  • Reverse Engineer: Derive or attempt to derive the source code, proprietary search logic, or "Verified" neighborhood algorithms of the Engine.

3. No Messaging or Spam Abuse

Communication tools must be used solely for their intended purpose of business discovery. Prohibited conduct includes:

  • Spam: Distributing unsolicited mass messages, commercial advertisements, or "make-money-fast" schemes.

  • Unauthorized Solicitation: Using member contact data obtained through the Service to market products or services unrelated to the ChamberSearch™ ecosystem.

4. System & Network Integrity

You may not violate or attempt to violate the security or integrity of our systems. Prohibited activities include:

  • Unauthorized Access: Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of our infrastructure or bypassing authentication measures.

  • Denial of Service (DoS): Overloading our core infrastructure with a volume of traffic intended to disrupt service.

  • Malware: Uploading or transmitting viruses, Trojan horses, or any code designed to damage or intercept system data.

5. Monitoring & Enforcement

Map Ranks Pro, LLC reserves the right, but not the obligation, to investigate any violation of this Policy.

  • Sole Discretion: We may investigate violations using manual or automated monitoring systems. All determinations regarding violations of this Policy are made at our sole discretion.

  • Immediate Action: We may remove infringing content or suspend/terminate account access immediately and without notice for any violation or attempted violation of this Policy.

  • No Refunds: Termination or suspension of an account due to an AUP violation is without refund and does not waive any outstanding payment obligations under the Terms of Service.

  • Law Enforcement: We cooperate fully with law enforcement and may report suspicious or illegal activity, including the disclosure of User information where required by legal process.
